Help

Short answers to the questions people ask about using indusmova.

Search or Ask — what is the difference?

Search lists the Wikipedia articles that match your words. Ask reads the best-matching article and gives you a direct answer, key points and a topic-wise breakdown. If you are not sure which you want, start with Ask.

Can I ask in Hindi or Hinglish?

Yes. Write the question however you like. Use the EN button in the header to choose which language edition of Wikipedia the answer is read from — the interface language is set separately with the हिं button.

How do I save something?

Open any answer or article and press Bookmarks in the action row. Saved items appear under Saved in the sidebar, and they stay in your browser — there is no account and nothing is uploaded.

What is "Understand meaning"?

It is an optional switch that re-orders the article's sentences by how closely they match the meaning of your question rather than by keyword overlap. It downloads a small open model (about 23 MB) the first time and runs entirely on your device. It is off by default, and indusmova works fine without it.

Does it work offline?

The app itself is cached, so it will open without a connection. Answers need the network, because they are read live from the Wikimedia APIs.

An answer looks wrong, or the page is broken

Every answer links to the Wikipedia article it came from, so you can always check the source directly. If a page will not load, it is usually a temporary problem at Wikipedia — try again in a moment. For anything else, use Feedback.

Is indusmova part of Wikipedia?

No. indusmova is an independent reader. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Wikimedia Foundation. All content belongs to the Wikimedia community and is reused under its licences.
